Pedestrian Struck, Killed On I-95 Stretch In Fairfield County

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on a stretch of I-95 in Fairfield County overnight.

The incident happened in Norwalk on the northbound side between exits 15 and 16 at around 10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, according to Norwalk Police.

In addition to Norwalk Police, Norwalk EMS, the Norwalk Fire Department and Connecticut State Police responded. 

More details, including the identity of the victim, have not yet been released.
